01. What is Full Turnkey PCB Assembly?

Full Turnkey Assembly means we handle every aspect of your project. You provide the design files (Gerbers, BOM, Pick-and-Place data), and we manage the bare board fabrication, procure 100% of the components, assemble the boards, and perform final testing.

02. What is the difference between Consigned and Full Turnkey?

In consigned assembly, you source and supply all the components and bare boards to our facility, and we simply perform the soldering and assembly. In Full Turnkey, we take over the entire supply chain and procurement burden.

03. How do you handle hard-to-find or obsolete components?

We leverage our extensive, long-standing relationships with global distributors. If a part is obsolete (EOL) or unavailable, our engineering team will work directly with you to identify and approve suitable cross-references or drop-in alternatives.

04. Do you purchase components from authorized distributors?

Absolutely. Quality is our highest priority. We source strictly from authorized, franchised distributors (like DigiKey, Mouser, Arrow, and Avnet) to ensure component authenticity and traceability.

05. What files do I need to provide for a turnkey quote?

To provide an accurate and rapid quote, we require your Gerber files (or ODB++), a complete Bill of Materials (BOM) in Excel format with manufacturer part numbers, Centroid (Pick-and-Place) data, and any specific assembly drawings or testing instructions.

06. Can you handle mixed-technology assembly?

Yes. We routinely assemble complex boards requiring a mix of Surface Mount Technology (SMT), fine-pitch BGAs, and traditional Through-Hole (PTH) components, utilizing both automated wave soldering and precision hand-soldering techniques.

07. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for turnkey services?

We do not have a strict minimum order quantity. We are fully equipped to handle rapid prototyping runs of just a few boards, as well as scaling up to medium and high-volume production runs numbering in the thousands.

08. Do you offer partial turnkey (kitted) services?

Yes. If you have custom or proprietary components you wish to supply yourself, we offer "Partial Turnkey" assembly. You supply the specific parts you want, and we will procure the remaining standard components to finish the build.

09. How do you manage component overages and attrition?

When purchasing parts, we automatically calculate the necessary overages required for SMT machine loading tape-and-reel attrition. Any significant leftover components are cataloged and either returned to you with the final shipment or stored securely in our warehouse for your next production run.

10. What testing is included in your turnkey assembly process?

Standard testing includes 100% Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) for all surface mount components and 3D X-Ray Inspection (AXI) for hidden BGA/QFN joints. We also offer Flying Probe electrical testing and custom Functional Testing based on your specific requirements.
