PCB Assembly FAQs

Surface Mount Technology (SMT) involves mounting components directly onto the surface of the PCB, allowing for higher density and faster production. Thru-Hole assembly requires component leads to be inserted into drilled holes and soldered, providing stronger mechanical bonds ideal for heavy components or high-stress environments.

To provide an accurate assembly quote, we require your Gerber files (RS-274X or IPC-2581), a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) in Excel format, and the Pick-and-Place (Centroid) data file.

We offer both! With our Full Turnkey service, we handle all component sourcing, fabrication, and assembly. With Consigned assembly, you provide the components, and we handle the assembly process. We also offer partial turnkey options.

Our prototype assembly services can be completed in as little as 24 to 48 hours. Standard production runs typically range from 1 to 3 weeks, depending on component availability and board complexity.

Yes. Our advanced placement machines can handle fine-pitch BGAs down to 0.3mm and micro-components as small as 01005. We use 3D X-Ray inspection to verify all hidden solder joints under BGA packages.

We utilize a strict quality control process that includes 3D Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), and 3D X-Ray inspection. We are ISO 9001, AS9100D certified, and IPC J-STD-001 compliant.

Absolutely. Flex and rigid-flex boards require specialized handling during assembly. We utilize custom vacuum pallets and thermal carriers to ensure the flexible materials remain perfectly flat during the solder reflow process.

Yes, our facilities are equipped to handle both. We offer fully RoHS-compliant (lead-free) assembly for commercial products, as well as traditional leaded soldering for military, aerospace, and legacy medical applications that require it.

We do not have a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ). We are fully equipped to support single-piece prototype runs all the way up to high-volume, continuous production orders.

Yes. For assemblies exposed to harsh environments, moisture, or dust, we offer specialized conformal coating and potting services to protect the circuitry and extend the lifespan of your product.
